Finding the interviewers
If you cannot find the interview type you are looking for, it means that it’s not currently offered on our platform. However, we are always trying to add more interviewers and interview types to our platform.
If you cannot find any interviewer for the company you are looking for, it means that it’s not currently offered on our platform. However, we recommend to book an interview with any other interviewer to know the areas for improvement which can be helpful when interviewing at any company.
Rescheduling
In the appointment confirmation email that you have received, there is a button to reschedule your interview. Please remember that you cannot reschedule the interview if there is less than 48 hours to the interview time. In that case, you may want to contact the interviewer directly through the interviewer's page.
Candidates cannot reschedule their interview less than 48 hours to the interview time. In that case, we recommend to contact the interviewer directly and ask to reschedule if possible.
Cancellation
To cancel the interview, in the appointment confirmation email that you have received, there is a button to cancel your interview.
We respect both interviewers’ and candidates’ time. As a result, we have the following interview reschedule/cancel policy: You can reschedule/cancel the interview up to 48 hours in advance of your interview time and get a full refund. If you cancel later than that time, unfortunately, you will not receive any refund. If you are more than 10 minutes late for an interview, the interviewer can decide to cancel the interview with no refund. In that case, you may want to contact the interviewer directly through the interviewer's page.
Candidates cannot cancel their interview less than 48 hours to the interview time. In that case, we recommend to contact the interviewer directly and ask to cancel if possible.

Refund
After the interview is cancelled (either by you or the interviewer), In the ‘My Interviews’ inside your TechMockInterview account, go to the details of the cancelled interview. Click on the ‘Request refund’ button on the left section of the interview page. Fill out the refund request form. The refund process might take up to 5 business days.
Please note that if the interview is booked through a package code, the credit automatically goes back to the package balance and there is no need to initiate a refund request.

If the cancelled interview is fully paid through a package code, the credit automatically goes back to the package balance and there is no need to initiate a refund request.
Let’s say you buy a package worth $500 credit. You book a $150 interview, the remaining credit will be $350. If you cancel the interview, the credit goes back to your package code right away and your remaining balance becomes $500 again.

The refund process for the amount you paid through PayPal might take up to 5 business days. However, the amount you paid through a package code, automatically goes back to the package balance right away.
Let’s say $80 worth of credit is left on your package and you want to book a $150 interview. Once you add the package code in the checkout during the booking process, you need to pay $70 through PayPal to complete the booking.
If this interview is cancelled (by you or the interviewer), the $80 credit automatically goes back to the package balance which can be used to book any other interview, however, you need to request a refund for the $70 you paid through PayPal.

Booking fee
Interview fee varies depending on the interview type and the interviewer. Each interviewer sets her/his own fee for the interview. Once you click on any interview type at our website, you will see the list of interviewers for that interview type and corresponding fee for each interviewer.
Considering factors like years of experience and location, each interviewer sets her/his own fee for any interview type.
Payments
You can pay for the interviews using your PayPal account. If you don’t have PayPal account, you can still pay with your credit card.
Unfortunately, we only accept payments through PayPal or acceptable credit cards.
